Etienne Gaillochet, drummer, singer
Etienne has been drummer and lead singer in WE INSIST! for the past 16 years, and that long-term experience has lead him to play more and more drums over the years and to sing too.
Apart from being interested in singing and playing at the same time he's very much inclined in playing twisted rhythms parts and searching for a melodic aspect of the drumset. He also plays with brass-bands (Les Acousmates, Goulab Ja Moun), singer-songwriters (Charlotte etc., François Tarot), slam rock (Spoke Orchestra, D' de Kabal), theatre music (Brecht/Müller's Fatzer), and lately performing a cinema-concert with We Insist! (Walther Ruttmann's "Symphony of the big city").
Etienne plays in the collective "Les Maisons Maquets"
